Terms of Service

Core Solar Solutions, LLC  ·  Last updated: April 24, 2026

Welcome to Core Solar Solutions, LLC ("Core Solar," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our websites, including homesolaradvice.net and all affiliated consumer-facing domains (collectively, the "Sites"). By using our Sites, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Sites.

Please read Section 6 carefully. It contains a mandatory arbitration provision and class action waiver that affects your legal rights.

1. The Service

Core Solar operates a platform that analyzes your property's solar potential and facilitates direct appointment booking between you and independent residential solar installation companies ("Installers") within our network.

We are a facilitator only. Core Solar does not provide solar installations, engineering, financing, or electrical services. We are not a licensed solar contractor.

Installer relationships: We review Installers prior to admitting them to our network, but we do not guarantee the licensing, insurance, workmanship, pricing, or availability of any Installer. Any agreement for solar services — including any contract you sign for installation — is strictly between you and the Installer. Core Solar is not a party to those contracts and is not responsible for their performance.

Lead referral fees: Core Solar may receive a fee from Installers for appointments successfully booked through our platform. This fee is paid by the Installer and does not affect the price you pay for any solar services.

2. No Solar Calculator

Our Sites are not solar calculators. Any estimates displayed — including system size, annual production, bill offset percentage, savings projections, or incentive amounts — are preliminary indicators only, not financial projections or guarantees. These estimates are generated using third-party satellite data, publicly available solar irradiance information, and published electricity rate data. Actual results will vary based on your specific home, roof condition, utility rate plan, equipment selected, shading, and installation details.

Do not make financial decisions based solely on estimates displayed on our Sites. Only a licensed solar professional who has conducted a site assessment can provide accurate, site-specific numbers.

3. TCPA Consent & Communications

By providing your phone number and email address and clicking "Continue" or "Confirm Appointment" (or any similar action that submits your contact information), you provide your express written consent for:

  • The specific Installer(s) you selected to contact you at the phone number and email address you provided
  • Core Solar Solutions to contact you regarding your appointment request and related services

This consent covers contact via phone calls, SMS/text messages, and emails, including those placed using automated dialing technology, artificial voices, or prerecorded messages, for the purpose of your solar consultation. Standard message and data rates may apply. The identity of the specific Installer(s) authorized to contact you is clearly displayed at the point of selection and booking.

Consent is not a condition of purchasing any property, goods, or services.

Opt-out: You may revoke consent at any time by replying "STOP" to any text message, clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or contacting us at privacy@coresolarsolutions.com. Revoking consent does not cancel any existing appointment — contact the Installer directly to cancel or reschedule.

4. Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when using our Sites. You represent that you are the homeowner (or authorized representative of the homeowner) of the property for which you are requesting solar information, that you are at least 18 years of age, and that any phone number and email address you provide belong to you.

Knowingly submitting false information — including names, phone numbers, or addresses you do not own or control — is a violation of these Terms. Because Core Solar incurs real costs and loses referral fees as a result of fraudulent or bad-faith lead submissions, we reserve the right to seek damages for intentional bad-faith submissions to the fullest extent permitted by law.

5. Incentive Information & Third-Party Data

Incentive information displayed on our Sites — including federal tax credits, state incentives, utility rebates, and net metering policies — is sourced from public databases and is provided for general informational purposes only. Incentive availability, amounts, and eligibility requirements change frequently. Core Solar does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or current availability of any incentive. Consult a licensed solar professional and a qualified tax advisor to determine your specific eligibility.

Our Sites integrate with third-party services including Calendly (appointment scheduling), Google Maps Platform (address autocomplete and satellite roof analysis), and NREL PVWatts (solar production estimates). We are not responsible for technical errors, outages, scheduling failures, or inaccuracies caused by these third-party services. Your use of these tools is also subject to their respective privacy policies and terms of service.

We are not responsible for an Installer's failure to honor a scheduled appointment, manage their calendar, or respond following a booking made through our platform. We do not guarantee that an Installer will attend a scheduled appointment or provide a follow-up consultation after a booking is made.

6. Dispute Resolution & Class Action Waiver

Please read this section carefully. It contains a binding arbitration provision and a class action waiver that affect your legal rights.

Mandatory arbitration: Except for claims that qualify for small claims court, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Sites shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will be conducted in California. The arbitrator's award is final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Class action waiver: You agree that any dispute resolution proceeding will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

Small claims: You may assert claims in small claims court if your claim qualifies and remains in small claims court.

Opt-out: You may opt out of this mandatory arbitration agreement within 30 days of your first use of our Sites by emailing legal@coresolarsolutions.com with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out" and your full name and email address.

7. California Consumer Rights

As a California-based service operating primarily in the residential solar market, we encourage all users to review the California Solar Consumer Protection Guide published by the California Public Utilities Commission.

Under California law (Business and Professions Code § 7159), if you sign a home improvement contract with a solar installer, you have the right to cancel that contract without penalty within three business days of signing (or five business days if you are 65 years of age or older). This right applies to your contract with the Installer, not to your use of our platform.

California residents also have privacy rights under CCPA/CPRA. See our Privacy Policy for details. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

OUR SITES AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUR SITES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY REGARDING THE ACCURACY OF ANY SOLAR ESTIMATE, SAVINGS PROJECTION, OR INCENTIVE AMOUNT DISPLAYED ON OUR SITES.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CORE SOLAR SOLUTIONS, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OUR SITES OR SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON ANY ESTIMATES OR INFORMATION DISPLAYED ON OUR SITES, YOUR INTERACTION WITH OR ENGAGEMENT OF ANY INSTALLER, OR ANY ACTS OR OMISSIONS OF AN INSTALLER FOLLOWING A REFERRAL MADE THROUGH OUR PLATFORM.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF OUR SITES SHALL NOT EXCEED $100.

CORE SOLAR IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DISPUTES, PROPERTY DAMAGE, FINANCIAL LOSSES, OR OTHER HARM RESULTING FROM A CONTRACT YOU ENTER INTO WITH AN INSTALLER.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our Sites, including text, graphics, logos, software, and data compilations, is the property of Core Solar Solutions, LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Subject to the arbitration agreement in Section 6, any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our Sites after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If we make material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.
